WHY WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD AND
REJECT THE TRINITY THEORY

It was the Trinity Doctrine that has brought much controversy and confusion to the world. When it was introduced to the Church of Alexandria in Egypt, it brought about the great Arian controversy in which thousands gave their lives rather than accept this doctrine. Keep in mind that the Bible declares that "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints." 1 Cor. 14:33. Fighting, confusion, and killing is not Gods way of converting people to believe in a Biblical doctrine. However; this is what early Trinitarian advocates did. "The day was to come when the Nicene (Trinitarian) party won out completely and then the emperors, who wished to prevent any more quarrels, decreed that one who denied the Trinity should be put to death. This law was later to be used against the Unitarians (or One God, Oneness people). At the earlier time; however, the bishops were horrified that truth (or the Trinity) should be defended by the shedding of blood." (or murder). Also, in the laws written and compiled by Emperor Justinian (called the code of Justinian) we find that the practice of murdering all non-Trinitarians continued well past A.D. 550. "The code says that any who refuse to believe in the Trinity and any who repeat baptism shall be put to death." The Church of our Fathers by R. H.. Bainton page 46, and 63. Think of it, a little helpless six year old girl could be beaten by Knights, and Clergymen and put to a brutal death simply because she was not a Trinitarian! Many modern day Trinitarians would be shocked of their Trinity Doctrine's true origin and history. The Bible says "Thou shalt not kill." EX 20:13, the spirit of the Early Trinitarian founders and forefathers is not of Christ. This site had provided the book "Foxes Book of Martyrs" for you to verify the martyrs of Christ. You will observe how the Popes of Rome persecuted any and all Oneness believers who stood fast to the One God faith:

The Early Church of the Bible knew nothing of a Trinity Doctrine. The very term "Trinity" or the teaching of it as a Christian doctrine did not start until 180 A.D. This is almost 150 years after the Church, under the new covenant, started in A.D. 33 on the day of Pentecost. One can search the Acts of the Apostles in the Bible which is the true History of the early Church thoroughly and not find any of the Apostles teaching the Trinity. We find some very enlightening historical statements in the Catholic Encyclopedia under "Trinity". "In Scripture there is no single term by which the Divine Persons of a Trinity are denoted together. The word TPIAS (of which the Latin word TRINITAS) is first found in Theophilus of Antioch about A.D. 180." Note the following:

"The writers of this school contend that the doctrine of the Trinity, as professed by the (CATHOLIC) Church, is not contained in the New Testament, but that it was first formulated in the Second Century and received final approbation in the Fourth, as the result of the Arian and Macedoian controversies."

The Encyclopedia Americana (1956), Vol. XXVII, Page 294L states that "Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was (and still is) strictly Unitarian. (oneness). The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately, early (Original Bible) Christian teaching regarding the nature of God. Rather, it was a deviation from this teaching."

The early original Apostolic Church of the Bible believed in only one God. The Trinity Doctrine was a latter man-made theory. It came into existence because the Latin and Greek Philosophers and Politicians rejected the Hebrew Scriptures and strict Monotheistic Doctrine of the Bible. Many Latin and Greek peoples were still influenced greatly by their old Pagan Theology of polytheism.

This is why many who defend the Trinity Theory quote the teachings and philosophies of men like Theophilus, Saint Augustine, Tertullian, Saint Cyprian, The Pope, Plato, and many more because most scholars realize that the Trinity is a Doctrine of Tradition of men and not a Truth of the Bible. (see Matt. 15:1-9, Mark 7:9, Col. 2:8-9, 2 Pet. 2:1, 1 Tim 4:1-3, 2 Tim. 4:2-4).

This is also why many uninspired (See I Pet. 1:20-21, 2 Tim. 3:15-17) writings and man-made Creeds have been written. God help anyone who will tamper with the Scriptures or write their own such as the Apocrypha, the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, the Didache and other many will follow men and their Creeds and not Christ and his Word.

The Encyclopedia Britannica (1976), Page 241 states that: "Biblical Basis-neither the word "Trinity" nor the explicit doctrine as such appears at any one place in the Bible; the ecclesiastical dogma is an effort to unit in one confession all the several strains of biblical description of God. Fundamental to that description in both the Old and the New is the monotheistic credo summarized in the Shema of Deut. 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." Neither Jesus nor his early followers intended anything they said about their new revelation to contradict that credo." The early Christians spoke to Jesus and about him in titles and put him above the merely human; they ascribed to him powers and works that transcended the natural realm; they sang to him "as God," as their Roman enemies reported (see Jesus Christ)."

Emperor Constantine helped to establish the Trinity Doctrine firmly as the only legal state doctrine of the Empire and the Catholic Church. A man that murdered his own wife and son and had many real one God Christians killed forced this doctrine on the entire Empire. This man was one of many murderers who took seat at the Council of Nicea in A.D. 325. The Trinity Doctrine's true foundation was laid at this meeting. Then it became the man-made Creed of the Catholic Church. However, the real identity of our Lord is Jesus. There is only one God who came in the human form of the name Jesus Messiah.

"God is Spirit" John 4:24, He is "the Holy One" Isa. 40:25. The only one true God has manifest himself in different ways. (No. 1)As the invisible Father-King and Creator of the universe. (No. 2) In the visible bodily form of Christ while he walked among humanity on Earth. (No. 3) as the Holy Spirit the indwelling power and presence of God in a born again believer after the ascension of Christ on the day of Pentecost. God has manifest himself in different ways; however, He is only one Divine Entity, or one supreme spirit.

There is one God who has revealed himself in a variety of ways. God who is a Holy Spirit does not co-exist with a Christ but rather He takes on flesh in Christ. The Bible asserts that God was revealed in the physical body or image of the Lord Jesus Christ. See 2 Cor. 5:19, 2 Cor. 4:4,6, Heb 1:3, Col. 1:15, 19, Col. 2:8-9, 1 Tim. 3:16, Rom. 9:5, Tit. 2:13, Eph. 4:4-6, Isa. 9:6, Isa. 7:14, Matt. 1:23, John 1:1,3,10,14, John 8:23-24, 57-59, John 10:30-33, John 12:44-45, John 14:6-9, John 20:28, Acts 7:59, Acts 20:28, Jude 1:25, Rev. 1:8, Matt. 25:31, Isa. 6:1, Rev. 4:2, Rev. 19:4, Rev. 20:11, Rev. 7:15-17, Zec. 14:9.

"The greatest revelation of God; however, comes through the Bible. Through the inspired written record, both the existence of God and nature of God are revealed in and through Jesus Christ. Jesus stated, "He that has seen me, has seen the father" (John 14:9)" - Nelsons New Illustrated Bible Dictionary, By Ronald F. Youngblood, 1995, page 501 under God.

The Holy Bible is a text that is inspired of God and a text of only one God. God moved upon men to write down His will and Word. Although the Bible is made up of some sixty-six different books covering thousands of years of history its teachings on the Godhead are consistent, that God is only one. Monotheism is the Biblical belief in only one God. This is clearly the true doctrine of the real Holy Scriptures.

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Ex. 20:3. "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD." - Deut. 6:4. "Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I even I, am the LORD: and beside me there is no Saviour." - Isa. 43:10-11. "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble"-James 2:19. "…there is none other God but one." -1 Cor. 8:4

The Trinity must be read into the Sacred Text, placed there by erogenous typology, or simply one must take the Scriptures out of context. The man-made Trinity Doctrine is not substantiated by the Holy Scriptures. This is why many modern day Trinitarian Theologians and Ministers reject the King James Version of the Scriptures and prefer the new modern liberal altered versions of the Bible. They will often tell people that the newer versions are more correct, and easier to understand. In reality these altered texts change many doctrines of the Bible, and deny the Deity of Christ. Many do not realize that some of the so called scholars who helped to write these altered texts are homosexuals, lesbians, and people who don't even believe in the virgin birth of Christ.

So many have for so long of a time taught the Trinity as fact, that many don't realize that it is a false theory. If one will study the Real Bible with an open mind they will find out for themselves that there is no Trinity or persons in the Godhead but rather that there is only one Sovereign God. You will not find the terms or words Trinity, Trinitarian, Triune, or the expression "God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost" in the Bible anywhere. Nor will one find where any one was ever baptized into the Trinitarian titles in the New Testament.

This is why the Roman Catholic Church outlawed commoners from reading the Bible. No common Person was allowed to read, study, or possess one. Any one who was caught having Bible would be put to death. There was no freedom of choice the priest of Rome would tell the people what they should believe. The leaders of the Catholic Church knew that the real Bible did not agree with their false teachings and their Trinity Theory. They also feared that they would lose their influence and power over the masses if the people found out the truth. Could it be possible that the Bible once again will be outlawed? Then will a New Age, Anti-Christ, apostate, text be forced upon the World? I am sure that if this happens that this new text will teach the Trinity Theory like other altered text. However, these writings and creeds are still not the true Word of God.

Because of these and many more historical and Biblical facts we must believe in only one true God. The opinion of man means nothing what matters is what the true Word of God has to say. His Word teaches that He alone is God and that there is none other God but Him therefore we reject the man-made theory of the Trinity.
