New Man Verses The Old Man
You will find that Satan can be cast out of the kingdom of God, as Adam was. The old man can only be crucified. (2 Pet 3:18 KJV) But GROW in GRACE, and in the KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. The old man is mentioned three times in the New Testament. (Rom 6:6 KJV) Knowing this, that OUR OLD MAN is CRUCIFIED with him, that the body of SIN might be DESTROYED, that henceforth we SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN. (Eph 4:22 KJV) That ye PUT OFF concerning the former CONVERSATION the OLD MAN, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; (Col 3:9 KJV) Lie not one to another, SEEING that ye have PUT OFF the OLD MAN with his DEEDS.
The only carnality that one can put off is the carnality that you see. Make sure that you are walking in all of the light that you see, not committing willful sin. (1 Cor 15:31 KJV) I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I DIE DAILY. (Rom 7:23 KJV) But I see another LAW in my MEMBERS, WARRING against the LAW OF MY MIND, and bringing me into captivity to the LAW OF SIN which is in my MEMBERS. (Rom 7:24 KJV) O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the BODY OF DEATH? (Rom 7:25 KJV) I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the MIND I myself serve the LAW OF GOD; but with the FLESH (CARNAL MIND) the law of sin.
We are the books, as the word is written the seals are broken, and the law of God (WORD) is written in our HEARTS and MINDS, until we hear THE SEVEN THUNDERS. Then the walls of carnality come down and the kingdom of God is taken COMPLETELY. This is represented by the reign of Solomon, through the wisdom of God. Because of disobedience Israel lost the kingdom, and were carried into captivity. David was a man of war, and could not build the temple. Solomon was a man of peace and built the temple of God.
God, being the almighty father was a God of war, and bloody under the law. He made war under the covenant (LAW) this was the strength of sin. The law being bloody could not build the spiritual temple of God. He came as his son that the law might be fulfilled through his son, the prince of peace. (Mat 12:42 KJV) The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a GREATER than SOLOMON is here. The moon (law) was turned to blood, being fulfilled, and it gave life. This means the work in us is finished by the man Jesus Christ, the prince of peace. (John 19:30 KJV) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, IT IS FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Crucifixion - 4717. stauroo, stow-ro'-o; from G4716; to impale on the cross; fig. to EXTINGUISH (SUBDUE) PASSION or SELFISHNESS:--crucify.
Crucifixion is a slow death. We are crucified with Christ. (Rom 6:6 KJV) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Jesus is the word and through the word we die out to the world daily.
(John 1:1 KJV) In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God. In the beginning on the first day of creation I repented, I saw light through the word. I started on my journey through the rest of the days of creation, until the six day. I was created in the image of God and was ready to enter into his rest. Being fully grown and mature, I was to die completely out to the world in the day that I was created in his image. Then I could enter into his rest, and live and reign with him for the 1000 years, that one eternal day. At the end of time, or life on the eighth day. I will spend eternal life with him.
Jesus died on the sixth day, the day of man's creation. The seventh day there was rest, and he arose on the eighth day. (Lev 12:3 KJV) And in the EIGHTH DAY the FLESH of his FORESKIN shall be circumcised. This represented a new beginning, circumcision of the heart. When we receive the circumcision, the land, or new earth must be taken. The old man must be crucified through the word, (Rom 10:17 KJV) So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD. (Rom 10:18 KJV) But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their SOUND went INTO ALL the EARTH, and their WORDS unto the ENDS of the WORLD. The trumpet has sounded and must go into all of the earth (US). (Mat 11:29 KJV) Take my yoke upon you, and LEARN OF ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall FIND REST unto your souls. It takes time to know him and learn of him. (Luke 21:19 KJV) In your PATIENCE POSSESS ye your SOUL. Too many get ahead of God not waiting for him to speak. (2 Tim 2:15 KJV) STUDY to show thyself APPROVED unto God, a WORKMAN that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly DIVIDING the WORD OF TRUTH. (1 Tim 3:6 KJV) Not a NOVICE, lest being lifted up with PRIDE he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
(Rom 7:24 KJV) O WRETCHED MAN THAT I AM! who shall DELIVER ME from the BODY OF THIS DEATH? (Rom 7:25 KJV) I thank God THROUGH JESUS CHRIST our Lord. So then with the MIND (OF CHRIST) I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. He (the word) is written upon our minds, and hearts. God only sees the new man, as he only recognizes the vessels of honor that are in the great house. The old man is not seen by God being cover by his blood. The blood gives life to the new man that rides the white horse (Purity Of God) so that through the covenant the land can be taken.
We must remember that we start out as babes in both cases. The old man starts out as a babe and grows in the carnal mind, or flesh, until the eighth day of Satan, or resurrection of damnation. The new man starts out as a babe in Christ and his mind grows in Christ until he matures having his senses fully exorcised. The old man as a babe is innocent in God's eyes until the age of accountability. His name is Adam, (Gen 5:2 KJV) Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. This is at the age they choose which woman they will be. Eve the virgin church without sin, or Eve the whore, or false church. (Zec 5:7 KJV) And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a WOMAN that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. (Zec 5:8 KJV) And he said, This is WICKEDNESS. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. (Zec 5:9 KJV) Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. Adam represents the first and second Adam. Eve represents the church, or bride and she also represents the whore. (1 Cor 15:45 KJV) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. (1 Cor 15:46 KJV) Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. (1 Cor 15:47 KJV) The FIRST MAN is of the earth, earthy: the SECOND MAN is the Lord from heaven.
As the old man decreases the new man increases, but when you receive Christ the only one that God sees is the new man. (Rom 4:8 KJV) Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. (2 Cor 5:17 KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. This happens in the eyes of God. (Acts 3:19 KJV) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. (Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. When you repent God does not see the old man anymore, mistakes do not count with the Lord as long as you repent. The only sins that will be imputed and that can take you out of the body of Christ is willful sin. (Heb 10:26 KJV) For if we sin WILLFULLY after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth NO MORE SACRIFICE for sins. (James 4:17 KJV) Therefore to him that KNOWETH TO DO GOOD, and DOETH IT NOT, to him IT IS SIN.
As new born babes (IN THE NATURAL) we are in the arms of Jesus, because their is no knowledge of sin. (Rom 4:15 KJV) Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. (Rom 5:13 KJV) (For until the law sin was in the world: but SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW. Then as Eve saw the tree of Good and Evil, we come to the age were we must choose. When we choose the tree of good and evil we partake of the bad fruit, and die in the eyes of God. (Gen 2:17 KJV) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Gen 3:5 KJV) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing GOOD AND EVIL. This says knowing GOOD AND EVIL not knowing GOOD FROM EVIL. When we know good and evil we have both coming forth in our life. Since God does not want us to do good and evil, he tells us in his eyes or word. (1 Cor 5:6 KJV) Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? God will not tolerate willful sin. We become a tree of good and evil ourselves. (Gen 1:12 KJV) And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Whatsoever kind of tree you are will be the kind of seed and fruit you will bring forth. It will either be very good seed and fruit in God's eyes, or very bad. (Mat 13:3 KJV) And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sewer went forth to sow. (Jer 24:2 KJV) One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. Genesis also tells of our spiritual creation not just the nature creation. (John 6:63 KJV) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Jesus is the beginning, the whole bible is his word, as are we.
As a baby, sin is not imputed, nor are we held accountable for our parents sins, but we are innocent in God's eyes. (Mark 10:15 KJV) Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. When we come to the age of accountability, and fall, then God sees the evil only. As a result, the bad basket of fruit, the tree of good and evil, the old man, and death are brought about.
The old man grows and waxes worse and worse. As the carnal mind increases the harder a man will get toward God. People who see themselves morally good are actually almost impossible to convert. They see their righteousness and not the ways of God. Not knowing in ourselves there is only FILTHY RAGS. (Isa 64:6 KJV) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
When you accept the Lord and grow in knowledge and wisdom the old man is crucified slowly, but since God knows your heart, God now only sees the new man. Now we can be changed from the glory of man to the glory of God. (2 Cor 3:18 KJV) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from GLORY TO GLORY, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Now in the eyes of God the new man is seen, but as a baby Christian not knowing as a full grown man in the Lord would know. As the old man dies the babe in Christ Jesus grows, and is lifted up by the virgin woman the church. The old man, or carnal nature gets smaller and smaller AND DIES.
GOD WILL NOT TOLERATE WILLFUL SIN: (Ezek 3:20 KJV) Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his RIGHTEOUSNESS which he HATH DONE SHALL NOT BE REMEMBERED; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
(Heb 5:14 KJV) But STRONG MEAT belongeth to them that are of FULL AGE, even those who by reason of use have their SENSES EXERCISED to DISCERN both good and evil.
