Type And Shadow Of Wilderness Serpent

(Numbers 21:6) And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. (Numbers 21:7) Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We HAVE SINNED, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. (Numbers 21:8) And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. (Numbers 21:9) And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

The bible is full of types and shadows. These types and shadows are important. They help us to understand the life Jesus would have us to live. Knowledge of these things causes spiritual growth that God wants us to have. The serpent in the bible is symbolic of Satan.

Jesus called the Pharisees vipers:

(Matthew 12:34) O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Again John the Baptist said:

(Matthew 3:7) But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

If the serpent is symbolic of Satan or the Old Man, why would God turn Moses' staff into a serpent? Why would God have Moses make a serpent of brass and lift it up? Satan is a slander as all men that come against the word of God are. The flesh of the Old Man or the accuser must be nailed to the cross. After the Old Man is purged and has gone through the fire only healing comes.

God created all powers.

(Romans 13:1) Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

(Col 1:16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.

In the Egyptian's eyes Moses' staff appeared the same as theirs. His staff became a serpent and so did the staffs of the Egyptians. The Egyptians thought they had the same power.

Men have always lifted themselves thinking they have power to do whatever they want. A man that does not know God lifts himself up making himself equal with God.

(Exodus 7:10) And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. (Exodus 7:11) Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. (Exodus 7:12) For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

There was a great difference between the rod of Moses and the rods of the sorcerers. Moses rod represented Jesus Christ the one that would go through the fire for all of mankind.

Numerous times Satan's power will look the same as the power of Jesus, through signs, but it is not, Jesus will always prevail. God allows lying signs in order to try the saints of God.

(Matthew 28:18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Do not follow the signs, God will allow things to happen in order to prove you.

(Deu 13:1 KJV) If there arise among you a PROPHET, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a SIGN or a WONDER, (Deu 13:3 KJV) Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God PROVETH you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

The same signs that follow the church, HEALINGS, TONGUES, PROPHECY THAT HAPPENS, will appear in the false church, God allows this. I speak with tongues and interpret, but unless you bear the fruit of the spirit it means nothing.

When looking through the eyes of the world, Antichrist is able to deceive because of his lying signs.

(2 Thes 2:9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with ALL POWER and SIGNS and LYING WONDERS.

Church, let us open our eyes and see the extraordinary powers that antichrist has.

The true Jesus Christ appears to be the serpent to the false church, yet the serpent appears to be the true Jesus to them. There is another Jesus being preached by the false church.

(2 Cor 11:3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (2 Cor 11:4) For if he that cometh PREACHETH ANOTHER JESUS, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive ANOTHER SPIRIT, which ye have not received, or ANOTHER GOSPEL, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Satan is the slander or the accuser. Any man that slanders who Jesus Christ really is tempts the saints in the same manner as the slander misrepresented what God really stated to Adam and Eve in the garden. The adding or taking away of just one word can change everything.

(Rev 22:18 KJV) For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

(Rev 22:19 KJV) And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

To the true church, Jesus Christ is seen as the only God of Israel manifested in the flesh.

(1 Tim 3:16) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Out of blindness the false church preaches Jesus Christ a separate distinct person not God alone. Jesus bodily is the complete express image of the Godhead.

The false church also preaches the HOLY GHOST unholy, and the UNHOLY ghost as the true Holy Ghost.

The Jews for the most part believe Jesus to be the Antichrist. Jesus said:

(John 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

An Antichrist is against the one way of God, against the truth of God and wants to take away your life in Christ. Outside of Christ there is nothing that is alive. Satan comes to kill you spiritually, slander the body of Jesus, steal the truth of God, and lead you out of the way. Antichrist slanders the ONE WAY of God ALMIGHTY. Enoch prophesied of these men and there false ways.

(Jude 1:14) And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, (Jude 1:15) To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

These men are Antichrist and Satan. They are the accusers of Jesus Christ and the saints.

These men went in the way of Cain, Balaam, and Korah.

(Jude 1:11) Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

The wrong way is Antichrist (Mark 666).

(John 10:10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The spirit of Antichrist was working then.

(1 John 4:3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Just about every one that you would ask would say, Jesus was born in the flesh as a man in Bethlehem. We the saints know that this verse is talking about when we are borne again. Jesus comes into our flesh and we bear the fruit of the spirit.

(Eph 5:30) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

This is how Christ is come in the flesh (in his spiritual body). Carnal minds do not look at the holy flesh that we have become.

(Romans 12:1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

The saints are holy flesh, or spiritual flesh. It is through our witness and our life that we prove that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh.

The majority that looked upon Jesus when he hung on the cross saw him as a serpent, or a slander of God. They thought that he slander God by making himself equal with God.

(John 5:18 KJV) Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

(Phil 2:5 KJV) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: (Phil 2:6 KJV) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Jesus Christ was reviled as evil even by the high priest in Jerusalem. He was spit on, tortured, mocked and made a spectacle by the religious leaders of that day. Jesus was treated as a devil, serpent, or Satan.

Today the true doctrine of Christ is being received the same way, nothing has changed, and saints are still despised. The saints of today who see the revelation of Jesus Christ are slandered by the false church or antichrist. They do not see past our natural flesh and see the inward man, or the second Adam.

(1 Cor 15:47) The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

The Lord from heaven or the Holy Ghost is in us.

(Gal 2:20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Satan’s power, the slander power, was taken away at the cross. The Old Man or Satan was destroyed at the cross for the ones that are washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. We have passed through the fire and have become as burnished brass. Anyone that will hear the word of God through us will be healed.

(Rev 12:10 KJV) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Satan, the serpent, or the Old Man was destroyed at the cross for the ones that accepted Jesus Christ. The mortal has put on immortality by being born again. We die corruptible but are raised incorruptible.

The religious people of that day looked at the outward man. Just as the Pharisees and Sadducees of today look at the outward man. When they saw Jesus Christ they could not know him and they still do not, they have no eyes to see, and are blind.

The Antichrist only sees the power of the flesh, the serpent. The antichrist goes by the outward adorning. When God was Israel’s king they rejected him and wanted one that was of the flesh. They chose the serpent, the flesh, or one of a carnal mind to rule over them.

It takes more than the outward appearance of a person; it takes Christ Jesus being born in you. Many people that appear holy are full of dead men's bones.

(Mat 23:27 KJV) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

We take up our cross daily and the old man is crucified daily until the fire purifies us and we become as pure as brass.

(Luke 9:23 KJV) And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

We die daily and it is through tribulations that we are purged.

(Rev 1:15 KJV) And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Paul was crucified with Christ daily and brought his flesh under subjection unto the spirit through the word of God

(1 Cor 15:31 KJV) I protest by your rejoicing, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

When our crucifixion is completed we are as burnished brass that has gone through the fire. The saints are the fruit of the vine that heals the nations.

(Rev 22:2 KJV)  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Although we die daily it is considered completely done by God. Jesus Christ finished he work and his plan at the cross. I was crucified with Christ Jesus, I am now crucified with Christ Jesus, and I will continue to be crucified with Christ Jesus.

(John 19:30 KJV) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Jesus became the brazen serpent at the cross. We died with him and all that hear the words of our heavenly father will be healed. We have been purged and redeemed through the blood (SPIRIT) OF Jesus Christ. When we take up our cross and go through the fire it destroys all of our carnal ways.

When we are bitten by the fiery doctrine of antichrist and look into the word and see Jesus Christ. We will be healed.

When we look on Jesus as God we CONFESS our sins, and OBEY THE LORD.

(Acts 2:38) Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and be BAPTIZED every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus heals us of all our spiritual infirmities.
